How do I use JoyCheck step by step?

JoyCheck tests your controller in your browser. No data leaves your device.

Calibration

Press C or the Calibrate button to start a 3-second sampling window. Keep both sticks centred. Reset with X.

Drift detection

Joy-Con thresholds: warn at 0.05, fail at 0.15. DualSense and DualShock: 0.08 / 0.22. Xbox: 0.10 / 0.25. Drift is reported when at least 80% of a rolling window of 60 to 90 readings stays past the warn threshold.

Rumble & vibration

Run the 4-stage diagnostic with R, or pick a named pattern: Heartbeat, Machine Gun, Wave, Notification, Explosion.

Latency

Press L or Start to measure button response. Press button A when prompted.
